Over 100 Lodge & Chapter members; family and friends supported the 3rd Annual BBQ at Ashlar House on Sunday 16th July and were joined by members of the Suffolk Provincial Grand Stewards’ Lodge and Light Blues. The weather forecast had threatened to dampen the spirits but thankfully was incorrect and held off all afternoon. The Stewards’ Lodge under their WM; W.Bro Andrew Pryke, dedicated a commemorative bench to the memory of W.Bro John Yeldham; known to most simply as ‘JY’ supported by our DPGM; APGM; and a number of senior Brethren from across the Province.
The fare was excellent, provided by William, Christine and their team from Roff Caterers; Camilla and her team were kept busy at the bar and the whole afternoon was much enjoyed by everyone. An especial thanks are due to all those behind the scenes for making this occasion as memorable as it was.
It was a real pleasure to welcome so many members and families from other Lodges and Chapters across the Province and our thanks are due to each of them for their support. We look forward to greeting everyone again next year. Watch this space for the date.
