Magna Carta Chapter No 8017

Have you completed your journey in Pure Ancient Masonry from Initiation into Freemasonry, through the Craft Degrees, to Exaltation into The Royal Arch?

Do you prefer not to drive at night? Do you prefer not to eat late in the evening?

Do you enjoy watching ritual but not necessarily having to take part?

Have you “missed out” during your Masonic journey by not joining Chapter?

A Royal Arch Chapter meeting in the morning followed by a lunchtime festive board could be just what you’re looking for.

Magna Carta Chapter 8017, which meets in Bury St Edmunds, may be the answer to all your needs.

Magna Carta Chapter meets on the 3^rd Monday morning in May and the 4^th Monday morning in September and again on the 4^th Monday morning in November for our Installation meeting.

We open the Chapter at 11:00 am and our meetings are followed by lunch at 1:00 pm. In May and September, we invite our ladies to join us for lunch.

We welcome joining or lapsed Chapter members of all ages. We are more than happy to Exalt any aspiring Mason of whatever age into the Holy Royal Arch so it’s never too late to become a Companion of our Order and complete your Masonic journey.

There is no formal “normal” progression through the Offices and our existing members are very happy to help any Companion who does wish to take on an Office and even progress through the Chairs of the Chapter.

Why not come along to luch to meet our members? You would be most welcome.

If you would like to find out more, contact our Scribe E (Secretary), Ex. Comp. Roger Young on 07702 686176 or by email at C8017@suffolkfreemason.org.uk
